Administering the PRAZ Act Implementation of Annual Procurement Plan Facilitation of Disposal of absolute assets and equipment

Administering the PPDPA Act (Chapter 22:23) and PRAZ Regulations:

• Management of all Council tenders through a structured process of tender advertisement, receipt of bid documents, fair evaluation and notification of successful bidding. 
• Ensuring all procurement activities comply with the Zimbabwe procurement legal framework and Procurement Regulatory Authority (PRAZ) standards.
• Maintaining strict adherence to procurement policies

Implementation of Annual Procurement Plan

• Drafting an APP for approval by PRAZ
• Ensuring that all procurement activities to be undertaken are appearing on the APP.

Facilitation of Disposal of absolute assets and equipment

• Coordinates with user departments, finance, and asset management units to identify obsolete, surplus, unserviceable, or redundant assets for disposal
• Advises on the appropriate disposal method (public auction, tender,

trade-in, transfer, or destruction) based on asset condition, value, and regulatory thresholds.
