The Council held iitssecond envrionment meeting at the Councilk boardroom district's environmental stewardship, sustainable land use, and natural resource governance. It formulates and enforces policies surrounding ecosystem protection, waste management, pollution control, and climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. Responsible for overseeing the sustainable exploitation of local resources—such as timber, minerals, and wildlife—the committee works in close partnership with national environmental regulatory bodies to enforce conservation bylaws, address land degradation, and ensure local economic development does not compromise ecological integrity
